Eun.Choi@umanitoba.ca
Dept. of Human Anatomy and Cell Science
Stella received her BSc in graphic design from Queens College (City University of New York). Since she moved to Winnipeg, she worked with children with special needs (e.g., autism). She also taught art to grade 1-5. These work experiences stimulated her personal interests in brain research. In fact, she recently lost her grandmother who had Alzheimer’s disease. Now she is very enthusiastic of being involved with research in neurodegenerative disorders. In her spare time she enjoys baking, drawing, designing clothes, and yoga.
