Iman received his Ph.D. degree (2016) in Electrical and Electronic engineering at Eastern Mediterranean University, Cyprus. During his Ph.D., he was selected (twice) as an honor student because of his academic achievements. After his PhD, he worked as a research fellow at Integrative Brain Imaging Center (IBIC), National Center of Neurology and Psychiatry (NCNP), Tokyo, Japan from June 2016 to June 2017. Then, he was trained a post-doctoral student in department of radiology, Laval university, Quebec, Canada from July 2017 to June 2020. Iman was selected as a top researcher in the field Neuroimaging by Quebec Bio-Imaging network in Dec. 2017. His research has a dual focus: ‘Brain imagng analysis’ and ‘advanced machine learning methods’ with a particular interest in “Neuroimaging” fields. He is one of the pioneer scholars in the application of machine learning and intelligent method in neuroimaging research. Iman is involved with different international human brain projects in Canada and Japan.
